i have been associated wtith the design industry. people search on google when they buy an online product. once they find compnaies offering that product, they do a competitve analysis as to which company is selling at a less rate and with more options. the company with the less cost and more options is the one that the person will choose to buy the product from

Web designers should remember they not creating websites for themselves or for the client. Essentially they are designing it for the users that will be visiting the site. These are the people that the website will have to make an impact on because they are the people who is going to decide should I buy this product or not. If a user sees a site that has been developed badly they won't bother contacting you because the website is the first thing they come into contact with. So, you better make it good.
